In another historical Judgment Hon’ble Supreme Court has again exposed the nexus and the collusion between the Builder and the Development Authorities which has led to a situation wherein the thousands of home buyers inspite of investing their life time savings still are unable to get their dream homes and wherever the buyers have received the possession they have received with constructional defects or without OC and CC. In this Order the Hon’ble Supreme Court has ordered against the Supertech Builder for the demolition of 2 towers in its Emerald Court project, as these towers were build in violation of several governing provisions mostly of Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Act 1973, Uttar Pradesh Industrial Area Development Act 1976 and Uttar Pradesh Apartment (Promotion of Construction, Ownership & Maintenance) Act 2010.
